A community of sharing for Moms and Moms-to-be
Spirit of Mamashare
When I was a single mom and living with two other single moms and our kiddo's all ran around together, i had a beautiful experience of sharing and caring with my new extended family.
Just Yesterday my soul sister Amanda came over with her boys and cooked in my kitchen dinner for us all.
Enjoying our kids together and sharing daily work together is the spirit of mamashare.
I used to go over to friends houses and do thier dishes and help with thier kids while our children played together, and in not too long, they wolud be at my house, cleaning. cooking, hanging out with the kiddos all together.
I think this is my favorite thing in the whole world.
the laundry is so much more fun to fold when your best friend is there with you keeping you company, or helping out, the dishes, the cooking, the childraising and play is so much richer with friend mamas partaking in it all.
Even when we cant actually have an adult conversation without lots of interruptions, the time shared together is precious and runs deep.
I think we bond over these times, when we help each other, when we share the joy of our children with each other, when we share the mess too.
This is Soul food, and I am filled with gratitude thinking of my dearest friends whom Ive had the pleasure of sharing mama time with.
