My Brother called me while I was at my office and asked me to come over to his house right away, Kristina was in the hospital and he needed to be with her.
I went over to his house and when I arrived there was a Police officer woman...

- What are your needs with respect to being a Mom or Mom-to-be?
- I am Currently inspired about writing articles, sharing information and insight, connecting moms and facilitating community.
My Daughter Kendra has finished breastfeeding after 4 years, and I am adjusting to the change hormonally. I think its amazing how much transformation happens throughout motherhood. Here I am, changing again.
- Recent memorable moment about mothering (either your own or others).
- My son Felix is now 14 and very cool. My daughter is now 4 and still a wild child.
- Do you have a child with special needs?
- My son is on the Autism spectrum
- What do you do for self-care?
- Yoga and dance
- What would you like to give or receive at Mamashare?
- I would like to share my pictures and experiences as a mom with other moms to create a fun and supportive community.
I would also like to offer support and information where appropriate as a professional massage therapist and Yoga instructor specializing in the care of pre and postnatal moms for the past 10 years.
I would like to offer a space where moms can share thier experiences and gather local community resources.
- What's your sense of community like?
- I have great mama friends, but I have been too busy to connect with them.
I am hoping that this will help me to keep in touch with those I care about, and make new connections as well.

- I am a mother of two, Kendra (4), and Felix (14), and co-parent of Christina(14)
I live in Wells Branch (Austin, Tx.) and Love the neighborhood and Community here!
We have our own family business, I offer prenatal and Postnatal Yoga and Massage therapy, and Michael manages the business side of things.
I most enjoy Nature, my kids, Yoga, dancing, swimming, growing and learning.

My Yoga Schedule
Yoga Classes at Remedy , 4910 Burnet Road right next to the Top Drawer Thrift Store on 49th and Burnet Rd.
Tuesdays 10:30-11:45am These classes are open to four more students and focus specifically on applying Yamas and Niyamas to everyday life, Developmental Movement Repatterning, and Embodied Anatomy Awarenesses in Yoga.
Friday s 10:30-11:45am Postnatal Yoga with baby
1-2:15pm Restorative Yoga for Women
4:30-5:45pm Prenatal Yoga

sharing, grief, and healing

Spirit of Mamashare
When I was a single mom and living with two other single moms and our kiddo's all ran around together, i had a beautiful experience of sharing and caring with my new extended family.
Just Yesterday my soul sister Amanda came over with her boys and cooked in my kitchen dinner for us all.
